structures. Some examples include flight control surfaces, fairing panels,
engine cowls, duct work and interior passenger and cargo compartment floor
panels.
Acsion considers aerospace a growth area,
so much so, that in collaboration with Air Canada, Acetek Composites Inc.
was established in
2001. Acetek's mandate is to commercialize E-beam technology for aerospace
applications through development and certification activities. To support
this mandate Acetek Composites Inc. became a Transport Canada qualified
Authorized Maintenance Organization (AMO) in 2002.
